TIPS:
- Clear Latex remains extremely tacky after it dries. To stop fine edges and latex pieces from sticking to each other (think a piece of sticky tape folding in on itself!) you MUST powder the finished piece.
- You can apply liquid latex directly to the skin or use it to pre-make prosthetics in a mold or free-hand for later use.
- Always make sure a layer of liquid latex is dry before applying the next coat. A hair dryer on low or a small fan can all be used to speed up the drying process.
- Liquid latex has an _expiry date_. Even in an air-tight bottle it will eventually solidify. Unless you are working on a large project or using it frequently it is best to stick with small bottles of product.
