New Year! New Home! New Website!

Happy New Year! 2012 was an exciting time for Daley Kreations. DK faced triumphs and challenges but over-all came out on top! We can‘t wait to see what 2013 holds! For one, Daley Kreations is starting the new year with a shiny new website! I’ve been itching to unveil it and today is the day! I hope you’‘ll check back often because there will be all sorts of news, tips, and fun things to keep you up-to-date on (or even easier - follow DK on Twitter or Facebook and you’ll find out about updates automatically!)! We‘re already busy, busy, busy booking classes, making monsters, and announcing new products! 2012 In Review... Things That Were Great : - Starting Daley Kreations! We‘ve already had some great successes - and we‘re not even a full year old yet! - Awesome appearances at Ad-Astra 2012 and Polaris 26 - Thank you to everyone who joined me for my silicone panels or dropped by the DK table. I hope you had fun and that you learned something new! And if you haven‘t had a chance to see us yet don‘t fret - we already have convention bookings for 2013! - Meeting people from around the world! As FuseFX distributors DK now has customers all over the planet - including Australia, India, and Israel! - A new home! In November Daley Kreations moved to a new, dedicated workspace all our own. Our new “bottega“ (Italian for “artist‘s workshop“ because I‘m a Renaissance nut ;) ) has everything we need - a cozy office and shipping area, plus plenty of room for slinging silicone and making monsters!

And can‘t forget to mention the gorgeous view!

The main workshop. That's my "pet project" , CJ, all decked out for the holidays. He's been a good Prawn - mostly ;)

Things That Weren‘t so Great... - Losing my dear friend and mentor, Guy Louis XVI, to cancer this summer. Guy created FuseFX and was the person who introduced me to working with silicone. He also encouraged me to start Daley Kreations (in fact we even brainstormed the name and logo together!) and, along with his wife Denise, the new owner of FuseFX, has supported and taught me in more ways than I can say. You are deeply missed Maestro Yoda. Things To Look Forward To In 2013! - More conventions - including Anime North 2013! - More products! - More “How To” videos and silicone tutorials! - More monsters! (I love monsters) So Happy New Year everyone – here’s to 2013!
